Zambia: Zion Church member fined for accusing another of witchcraft

A MAN from Zion Church has been fined KR1,000 for accusing his friend of being a witch without having sufficient evidence. Josias Moono told senior court magistrates Martha Tembo, Kalunga Chansa and Mukuka Ngandwe that he, Misopela and Jam teamed up to bewitch his brother Steven Moono, who is a police officer at Chinyunyu Police Post, because they were jealous of him. Zambia: 90-year-old woman torched to death on suspicion that she was a witch
