About Us

The Witchcraft and Human Rights Information Network (WHRIN) is the leading international agency working to put a stop to harmful practices relating to manifestations of beliefs in witchcraft (HPW).

From Nepal to Nigeria, Papua New Guinea to Pakistan, thousands of people, usually the elderly, women and children, are suffering abuses of their rights due to such practices.

Working with our wider network, which is made up of activists, academics, UN officials, policy makers and survivors of abuse, WHRIN works tirelessly to help ensure that solutions are developed to put a stop to some of the 21st century’s most horrific forms of abuse.
